Cost Comparison: Flexible Porcelain Tiles vs Traditional Tiles
While our flexible porcelain tiles are priced similarly to ceramic tiles (¥85/㎡), they deliver 19.2% lower total project costs through:
- Installation: 60% faster, 30-50% labor reduction
- Material Waste: <3% vs 8-10% with ceramic tiles
- Weight: 90% lighter = reduced structural costs
- Maintenance: 70% lower lifetime costs
Example (1,000㎡ project):
→ ¥25,000 savings (19.2%)
Normally we don't provide support during weekends, except for urgent cases. In these cases, you only need to mark “Urgent” in your email, we will get back to you ASAP.
Technical Questions
- The existing tiles must be solidly adhered (no hollow spots or loose tiles)
- Tile surfaces must be roughened by grinding and thoroughly cleaned
- Apply a high-strength primer/bonding agent to enhance adhesion
Note: For optimal results, we recommend removing old tiles to ensure a perfectly solid substrate.
Material Composition: Mineral Base (77.7%) | Binder (8%) Polymer Emulsion | Additives (3.2%) | Protective (3.3%)
Zero-Emission: 1. 0% formaldehyde/VOC (GC-MS) 2. Closed-loop water 3. Recyclable
Grouting is not required, but using grout makes it look better.
Yes, soft ceramic tiles have excellent waterproofing, high and low temperature resistance, and UV aging resistance, making them suitable for long-term use in outdoor environments such as building facades, balconies, and commercial exteriors.
It is recommended to let it sit for more than 24 hours after installation to ensure full curing.
Most users can install it themselves. Simply prepare: tile adhesive, utility knife, roller, level, a smooth and clean wall surface—no professional tools or construction team required.
Fire Rating: Class A2 (GB 8624-2012 "Classification for burning behavior of building materials")
- Non-combustible: Heat release ≤3MJ/kg (tested 2.8MJ/kg)
- Zero flame spread: Passed SBI (Single Burning Item) test
- Low smoke toxicity: Smoke density rating SDR≤15 (standard requires ≤60)
Key Test Data:
- Fire resistance duration: ≥90 minutes (GB/T 9978.1-2008)
- High-temperature stability: No melting/dripping at 1000℃
- Thermal conductivity: 0.23W/(m·K) (better than ceramic tiles)
Recommended Applications: High-rise building facades, subway stations, hospitals, schools and other public spaces with strict fireproof requirements.
*Note: Class A2 is highest fireproof rating for building materials, equivalent to EU standard A2-s1,d0
Waterproof Performance: 0.1% water absorption rate (vs 3-5% for ceramic tiles) IPX8 rating - can withstand continuous water immersion Impermeable surface prevents liquid penetration Moisture Resistance: No expansion/shrinkage in 95% RH environments Special cross-linked polymer structure resists vapor transmission Mold-free guarantee for wet areas (bathrooms, pools, etc.)
